Respect is a core value in all walks of life, but especially in anti-racism work. Respect is needed for open, frank discussions. It’s necessary to respect all if we want true equality and inclusivity.

Commitment

We must commit to adjusting our racist culture, within ourselves and in our communities. Anti-racism work is crucial for a better world, it is our duty to commit to making a difference.

Open-Mindedness. 

Here at PEACE we do not believe that the system is broken, rather it was designed to oppress. That design has been a part of our fundamental culture for 100’s of years. So, change will be difficult, it will be hard work, it will go against what we know to be right. Therefore, we value a mind open to change, to discussion and to learning a new way. We believe an open mind is at the core of change for the better.
